Since 1980 OMV has been manufacturing hydraulic cylinders for different sectors, from construction, to mechanics, to naval and aeronautical sectors.
Our production facilities include twelve thousand square meters, including the buildings dedicated to production and the areas for logistics and storage.
A wide range of design
Our Technical Department is able to design, upon customer request, any type of hydraulic cylinder, including cylinders with and without end-of-stroke dampers and with proximity switches or position transducers; including telescopic cylinders with a constant and variable effect of speed and including cylinders “air-oil” and “oil-oil” (pressure multipliers). A recent but deep cooperation with ROSTONI has furtherly widened out range of designs to metallurgical applications, ropeways, presses…
A wide range of dimensions and performances
We normally produce cylinders with bores from diameter 80 to diameter 500 for working stroke up to 6000 mm and maximum working pressure of 500 bar; other measures can be elaborated on request, thanks to the support that the internal production can receive from our network of selected subcontractors.
We also produce cylinders with special materials, for the need of lightness, strength and performance.
In house production
We have a complete and specialized machinery range, including automatic CNC milling centers, CNC lathes, nine-axis welding robot centers, sanding machines and a deep hole drilling machine; Phosphating and Painting plants.
Quality check and certificates
We are able to supply different welding certifications (RINA, LLOYD'S, GERMANISCHER LLOYDD, etc.) and Quality reports of perfect functioning, tested on our test benches, to guarantee the certification by all the most important certification companies operating in Italy.
Our factory itself has obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification for its quality system and we have been certified since 1994.
